1st Mid-term Exam

The following are the topics that will be included in the 1^st written mid-term exam on Monday 19^th

• Theory:

Processes of simplification: Elision; assimilation
English accents: RP and its changes during the 20^th century; Estuary English; Cockney
English and Spanish consonants: plosives, fricatives, affricates.

During this week I’ll post up at Departamento notice board the dates for the oral exam so you can write your names in the groups that best suit you. See you
